PA Governor Rendell expected to sign state smoking ban today

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell is expected to sign Senate Bill 246 today. The Senate Bill will outlaw cigarette, cigar, and pipe smoking in all office buildings, restaurants, and other public places—including some sports arenas, in the state.

If signed as expected, the so-called “Clean Indoor Air Act”, will make Pennsylvania the 33rd state to enact a comprehensive state-wide ban on smoking in [most] public places.
